The seed of Rolnik was planted in 2008 when Jaime Carrasco began investing personally in publicly traded companies. In 2014, Jaime started advising on the management of two hedge funds, Legiox SIL and Rolnik Capital SIL. Over the next seven years, they achieved annualized returns of 11% and 9%, respectively, with Legiox SIL being the most profitable SICAV in Spain in 2020 and Rolnik Capital SIL ranking third.
In 2019, after more than a decade dedicated to investing, Jaime founded the asset management firm Rolnik Capital Owners to make his investment philosophy accessible to a wider audience, from novice to experienced investors. The firm launched its first two funds, Rolnik Conviction FI and Focus FIL, in the second half of 2020. In April 2021, the two pre-existing SILs merged with Focus FIL.

In November 2022, Rolnik launched Resilience FI, its third fund, to meet the demand for a Culture Investing fund focused on more mature companies with moderate growth and consistent earnings.
